EXIT STATE

At the beginning of the project, she operated Czech Insurance Company (now Generali Česká pojišt'ovna) extensive application portfolio with limited registration and low standardisation user environment. Corporate data storage was not consolidated and the IT infrastructure was not virtualized.

At the same time, it was very challenging for the company to force its employees (especially the freelancers) compliance with security policies. Czech Insurance Company therefore decided to proceed with a transformation based on building a platform for central delivery of applications (CDA) has chosen ORBIT as its partner for this purpose.

EXTREME CONDITION

The focus of the joint project was simplification, consolidation and centralisation of IT infrastructure Czech Insurance Company. We have built fully centralised environment without local applications with guaranteed availability at the level of SLA 99,99 %.

Users today access their applications through an intuitive, multilingual portal from of any device (regardless of its type, operating system or form of ownership). Remote access implemented on Citrix technologies is as secure as working on a local network.

Currently, Česká Pojist'ovna has highly accessible workplace with a consistent application portfolio and an adequate level of security that enables the company to respond more effectively to business needs. The return on investment did not exceed the previously declared three years.
