EXTREME CONDITION
The result of the project, which was undertaken by ORBIT, is consolidated and fully virtualized server infrastructure using technology VMware. We modernized the existing terminal farm built on Citrix technologies, the data center is newly equipped with powerful Hewlett-Packard server technologies, production data is stored on two disk arrays with automatic data replication. The above changes, including server migration, installation, testing and tuning, have been in full operation.
Virtualized infrastructure enables OLMA employees securely access corporate applications and data. The number of physical servers has been reduced and the cost of IT ownership has fallen. New acquisitions or expansions of the dairy's production facilities will not require further investment in IT. The implemented modernisation of the IT infrastructure thus represents a competitive advantage for the company in the long term.
